First Measure Your Head Circumference To measure your head circumference take a sewing measuring tape or even a string and wrap around above the ears and across your eyebrows. Most of the Akubra Hats and many of the Tilley Hats we carry are offered in sizes 54 6¾ through 63 7⅞ with a number of hats available in size 64 8. Adult hat sizes range from 6 34 21 12 head to a 7 34 24 14 head and sometimes larger.
